Our Story

We Built This Because Coworking Was Broken for Both Sides

Founded in Dubai in 2024. Angel-backed in 2025. A small team solving a real information gap in Dubai Internet City's coworking market.

Origin Story

How Letswork Started

Tariq was paying for three coworking memberships he barely used. Each space had different strengths, different time windows he actually needed, different availability patterns across the week. He was overpaying and underusing, and the spaces had no way to know that.

Around the same time, operators in the same cluster were watching desks sit empty on Tuesday afternoons while remote workers three minutes away were searching for somewhere to work. The two sides of this market were not finding each other. The information was not flowing.

Layla had spent years building two-sided matching systems in MENA technology startups. She recognized the pattern. A marketplace matching problem. The demand was there. The supply was there. What was missing was a real-time visibility layer and an algorithm that could route between them.

They started building Letswork in Dubai Internet City in 2024. The first beta opened with eight operators in DIC. Operator feedback in the first six weeks reshaped the dashboard entirely. Member booking behavior told them the algorithm needed a location-weight that the original model undervalued.

Letswork raised $750K in angel funding in December 2025 and is continuing to build. The goal remains the same: make every desk in Dubai Internet City visible and bookable, and make it easy for members to find the right seat for their day.

The Team

The People Building Letswork

A small team with direct experience in matching systems, booking infrastructure, workspace product design, and data engineering.

Layla Haddad, CEO and Co-Founder of Letswork
Layla Haddad
CEO & Co-Founder

Years building two-sided matching systems in MENA technology startups. Recognized the workspace mismatch in DIC as a classic supply-demand visibility problem and led the decision to build Letswork from the ground up in Dubai.

Tariq Mansour, CTO and Co-Founder of Letswork
Tariq Mansour
CTO & Co-Founder

Background in distributed systems and real-time booking infrastructure at hospitality and travel technology companies. Brings the engineering perspective of someone who lived the operator-side problem firsthand as a coworking member in DIC.

Head of Product

Workspace experience design and operator tooling. Previously built booking and workspace management interfaces at a Dubai-based real estate technology company. Owns the product direction and operator onboarding experience at Letswork.

Soren Lindqvist, Lead Engineer at Letswork

Lead Engineer

Occupancy sensing, data pipeline engineering, and smart-building IoT systems. Applies a data infrastructure lens to the workspace utilization problem, building the occupancy feeds and matching pipeline that underpin the Letswork platform.

What We Believe

Transparency in Data

Operators see real occupancy numbers, not rounded estimates or smoothed weekly averages. The heatmap shows what is actually happening, so the decisions that follow are grounded in the same data.

Space Is a Resource, Not a Subscription

Members should pay for the desks they actually use. Operators should capture revenue from the slots that get filled. The subscription model that worked for gyms does not work as well for coworking in a market where schedules shift week to week.

Built for Dubai, Designed to Scale

We started in Dubai Internet City because it is one of the densest clusters of technology workers and flexible workspace operators in the Gulf. That specificity is an asset. The platform is built to handle denser markets as the network grows.
